Japan Airlines Tests Chinese-Made Robots at Haneda Airport
The Japanese airline company Japan Airlines (JAL) has started a two-year experiment with the use of robots made in China in the Haneda Airport of Tokyo. They will be involved in loading and unloading cargo operations. The deployment of such robots is intended to solve the problem of the serious shortage of workers in Japan's air transport industry due to the small number of working-age citizens and the huge influx of foreign tourists. In its turn, Japan Airlines plans to further employ robots in cleaning aircraft cabins and operating devices.
